長く呼吸-歌制御に関与すると考えられてきたDMにBDA注入したところ、zebra finchesとpigeonsで類似の神経回路が見られた。

　　・tracheosyringeal part of the hypoglossal nucleus (XIIts)
　　　　DMにも返る
　　・suprahypoglossal region
　　・nucleus retroambigualis

　　・XIItsとRVLの間をrostrally
　　・XIItsとRAmの間をcaudally
